The 2024 MTV VMAs are almost here to close out the summer, and the full list of nominees has arrived. Leading this year’s nominations is none other than Taylor Swift — with a whopping 10 nods, the most of the night.

This year the MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the UBS Arena in New York on September 10, 2024. The show, which will be broadcast live around the world starting at 8 pm ET, will celebrate the most innovative and exciting musicians and their visuals across 15 gender-neutral categories. Starting today through Friday August 30, fans can vote for their favorite artists and favorite music videos by visiting Vote.mtv.com. Voting for Best New Artist and the social categories will remain active into the show’s broadcast on September 11.
Taylor Swift could break records with her wins at this year’s VMAs, potentially becoming the only artist to ever win the coveted Video of the Year award five times and three times in a row. The second most-nominated artist is Swift’s collaborator Post Malone with nine nods, and Ariana Grande close behind in third place with six nominations.
Other artist among the most nominated of the night include Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem, Megan Thee Stallion, SZA, LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims. There are 29 first-time nominees at this year’s awards, including Tyla, Benson Boone, Shaboozey, LE SSERAFIM, Chappell Roan, RAYE, Coco Jones, Gracie Abrams, Burna Boy, NCT Dream, Gunna, Rauw Alejandro, Sexyy Red, Tyler Childers, Flyana Boss, Victoria Monét, and many, many more.
The awards show also shared their first batch of VMAs performers, and it’s a packed lineup already. Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, and Camila Cabello will all perform at the 2024 VMAs.
